For safety, we will need to know where any underground lines (power, cable, internet and gas) are located on the property. We advise that you call 811 which is the “Georgia call before you dig line” before any work is to begin. This is a free service where someone will come out to mark where buried utilities are located on your property. It generally takes 2 business days. This locater service must be performed prior to stump grinding.

Please make sure the work area around the stump is clear of objects such as: garden decorations, patio furniture, toys, debris, rocks etc.It is better if the grass isn’t not watered the day of the service; wet grass or muddy conditions can cause the machinery to sink slightly.

Stump grinding will produce wood mulch. The size of stump depends on how much mulch is produced. We will back-fill the mulch into the hole where the stump was located. *Haul-away service for mulch is available for an additional fee.

Mulch hauling is available for an additional fee. We are equipped to haul any amount of mulch produced. When hired to haul the mulch we leave the area where the stump was located, level and ready to re-landscape.
